INTERIOR INSPIRATION: Home Office
Happy Wednesday! if you remember, I've decided to come up with a couple of interior inspiration posts for my new apartment in London (which is still in hunt..). I'm a huge fan of home offices, I love to sink in my own little space with a cup of tea and some cookies while editing my photos. I love customising my inspiration board on the wall, and tweaking the desk with a couple of beautiful gems I've picked up from my trips around the world. So today, I would like to share a couple of home office inspirations I've come across and absolutely love on Pinterest.
1. Black & White Designs
Being a huge fan of black and white photography, I guess its no surprise that I get attracted to black and white interior designs as well. Modern and clean, and they also create a sense of profession. Some may worry that with black and white, everything is going to look too stiff, but I really think we the right decoration, it could also look really trendy and fun.
Or if you want something a little warmer, add in some pink and natural wood colours. Spice it up with something feminine. Equally boyish and girly at the same time. I also love simple table designs, it gives me a lot of space to get creative for different desk situations..you know, like creating your flat-lay photos haha!
2. Huge Window
Natural light is so important for photoshoots, and needless to say, for our eye health. I'm a very visual person, being able to see the world move and change while working just gives me so much inspiration. Plus, its always nice to get some sunlight in during cold winter time..Imagine this, wrapping yourself in your knit cardigan, sipping from your mug of hot cocoa, facing that snowing window scene... life just keep getting better, doesn't it?
3. Your Mood & Inspiration Board
My favourite part of decorating a home office is definitely the mood board or wall. I personally prefer sticking travel photos or postcards on the board. Mood boards are so creative and personal at the same time. As for me, my mood boards/ walls tends to be cozy, rustic and actually a little messy. Most pieces are the memorable pieces I collected from my previous travels. Ah..how I wish I'm now in London already, styling up my new mood board, getting ready for my next journey.
Do you guys love and have a home office? Or do you guys have any tips for decorating one, share it in the comments area, I would love to know. x
