New In From Hong Kong
Today, I'm very excited to share with you three of my recent purchase. I don't know about you guys, but as a blog reader myself, I really enjoy reading what other bloggers have in their latest collection. So I thought this might be interesting. Plus, this gives me a chance to practice my photography skills at home, which is pretty fun to be honest. I'll be posting once a while about my new in, what do you think?
1. Stella McCartney Tote
As you may or may not know, Stella McCartney is one of my favourite designers. I was first attracted to the brand's ethics, and a few months back when I got my first Stella bag from net-a-porter (read about it here), I was so happy with it, a complete balance of fashion and ethics. And trust me, the quality is just as good as real leather! This bag works perfectly as a travel tote, you can pretty much just dump everything in. My camera, phone, passport, map, sunglasses..etc. There was both black and grey in the store, which actually took me a while to decide since I'm all for those basic colours. In the end, I went for grey because it seems more casual and outfit going. (the black one has gold chains, probably thats why it looks a little bit formal and mature to me).
2. J.Crew Basic Tops & Shorts
I am really into basic items, like a white t-shirt or an loosen stripe top. I'm so in love with them that it kinda became an obsession. In my opinion, simplicity makes the strongest statement. It doesn't matter if you're only wearing a white t-shirt with skinny jeans, with the right structure of accessories, you can still look amazing. As you can see, I got a little crazy in the J.Crew store in the IFC Mall, I ended up leaving the store with three tops and a pair of navy shorts. I reckon they will all be absolute perfect for the rest of the summer.
3. Chiara Ferragni Slip On
These days, it seems pretty common to have a pair of slip on sneakers in your closet..or perhaps two! And I'm sure you are all pretty familiar with Chiara Ferragni's footwear line, the iconic blinking eyes is definitely a genius. Fun pieces are always my best friend, remember the A-Esque Emotion Bag I bought from Australia? I mean if you're a girl who normally goes for simple outfits like me, I really recommend to spice things up a bit with an interesting pair of shoes. I was actually considering the Denim Hollywood Star Espadrilles, but the only place I can find them is via the internet, but I'm pretty conservative when it comes to shoes, I won't buy a pair if I've never tried them on before. Anyways, I stumbled across these cute monster slip sneakers in Central Hong Kong, and instantly fell in love. I mean, seriously, looks at that face! How cute is that!
There you have it, my new-ins from Hong Kong. I hope you enjoyed it! xx
