Slow styling is something that I’ve been trying to lean into for a while, after the huge wardrobe declutter last year, I’ve been finding new ways to wear pieces instead of letting things get dusty in my wardrobe and hauling every couple of week.

Some names stick around, some don’t. Same goes with our personal journey with style. There are brands you’ve tried and can’t stop going back to for years, while there are some you just simply out grown.

Denim is tricky. However, for a lot of us it is one of our most-worn style in our wardrobe. It is, in my defense, an essential purchase. But there are so many to stumble across before finding the pair — fabric, fit, stretch, cut, wash, price. So I’m here to help.

Please excuse me for having this series in MIA for the past two months. Work has been a bit crazy. That being said, today I’m sharing a couple of my favourite winter pieces, I’m also a couple of accessories you guys have been asking over Instagram. Sounds interesting?

I LOVE WINTER CLOTHING. You've heard me say that before having you? It's the season of boots, huge scarfs, coats, chunky knits and more. I honestly cannot be happier, so here I am today, starting a new monthly series, rounding up a couple of my favourite style pieces from each month.

Here’s no better way to treat yourself with a piece of jewellery. I still remember during my teenage years where I would spend all my pocket money on bracelets so I could stack them up on my wrist (my style back then was very ‘out there’). Till this day, I would never leave the house with bare hands or neck.

Here we go again, my annual birthday trip to Tokyo. I'm staying a little longer than usual this time. And I thought it would be fun to bring you guys along as I pack. I'm keeping everything simple since that's how my wardrobe is anyway. So without further ado, let's start packing!

I took some time off from the online world for the past month. Stopped scrolling Instagram & Facebook all the time. Stopped watching stories every minute so I feel like I'm in the loop. I still posted on my own feed every now and then, but that was it. And perhaps my absence here also had something to do with my little digital detox.
